We are delighted to announce that the Newcastle Allotment and Garden Festival will be returning to Exhibition Park for 2025, on Sunday 14 September from 11am to 4pm. 

September 2024, saw the Newcastle Allotment and Garden Festival hit Exhibition Park for the first time. A celebration of allotments, gardening and growing, sustainability and wellbeing, the one-day event transformed one of Newcastle’s most popular parks into a hub of creativity, activity, and connection with nature in the heart of the city. It brought together garden enthusiasts, families, and community members to celebrate the joys of gardening and sustainable living.

Last year was a shining example of what can be achieved when communities come together. We welcomed some of the region’s most passionate and innovative individuals, organisations, and groups to create a diverse and jam-packed programme of talks, workshops, live music, wellbeing sessions, family activities and entertainment for everyone to get stuck into. Nearly 4,000 visitors of all ages had the chance to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts, share tips, and try something new.

This year’s event promises another family-friendly affair, with something to see, do and learn for all ages.
