Friendly conversations at our stalls have helped thousands of local people get involved in climate action. Join our volunteers who help make them happen, through backroom support or by getting out and about. Push the buttons to find out more!

Current Opportunities

Outreach Stall Support Roles

Transporter for Outreach Stalls

Join our group of people able to take stalls resources to or from events. 

Outreach Stall Co-ordinator

Find potential events to attend,  contact organisers to book, share with volunteers, and organise a rota.

Resource Organiser

Oversee treasure chest of resources! (banner, placards, leaflets etc); order new stock when needed.

Online/Hybrid Roles

e-Newsletter Editor

Help create our monthly newsletter, with catchy headlines,  climate news, and helpful information.

Video/Reel Editor

Use simple online editing resources to make videos and reels that showcase our local climate action work.

Facebook Support 

Create posts, share climate related stories, and interact with our Facebook member's comments and messages.

Bluesky/Threads Support

Use Bluesky and Threads to share updates, images and videos, and engage in conversations with our followers.

Research Support

Keep our socials and website updated by researching local climate related businessses, events, campaigns, organisations.

Outreach and Information Gathering

Map out other local climate groups, liaise with them, and keep our hub info up-to-date

One-Off Support

Occasional photography, blogs writing, press releases – join our “pool” to hear about future opportunities to get involved.

Training and Support

As a local action group affiliated with Friends of the Earth, we follow their values, policies, and support methods. FOE offers free training opportunities for all volunteers. In addition, CAN provides role-specific training.
