COP30 Global Day of Action - Newcastle

Rally at Civic Centre and Climate Stalls at St James’s Hall

Climate activists from across the North East will march, while world leaders debate future policies at COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Gather from 11am, with music and speakers from about 11.20. March sets off at 12 noon, ending at Climate Stalls event for networking, refreshments and discussion groups.

** TRANSPORT: nearest Metro is Haymarket; lots of bus services at nearby Interchange; bike parking in Northumbria Uni campus right by St James's Hall. several local authority car parks close by.

** NEARBY CAFES: early arrivals for Civic Centre can meet in Wetherspoons (Five Swans), Costa, Pret, the Grand, Anyone cafe, and stalls prep people can pop to Cafe Central almost next door.
