Newcastle Climate Forum

Welcome to Newcastle's third Climate Change Forum.

This is an opportunity to hear from you and also discuss Newcastle's journey in tackling climate change through collectively working together towards a greener and more energy efficient city.

This forum is focused on energy and will be the first collaborative forum partnered with Bring Energy. Bring Energy are our strategic partner in the city who work with the Council to develop energy and heat network opportunities. They also operate our flagship heat network facility, the Helix Energy Centre.

The event will involve a site visit to the Helix Energy Centre which is one of the city's most prominent heat network energy centres. This will be followed by a presentation and discussion on the opportunities regarding energy and heat in the city. Discussions at the forum will help feed into the development of the Council’s broader strategy in this space. Your voice matters!

The forum will be hosted on the 24th of July at the Helix Energy Centre.

You will be able to attend the forum during one of three time slots:

· 2pm-3:30pm (20 tickets available)

· 3:30pm-5pm (20 tickets available)

· 5pm-6:30pm (20 tickets available)

There are a limited number of tickets available for each timeslot so if you are interested be quick! If there is substantial demand we may choose to run future visits.
