OUR GUIDE TO LOW-CARBON LITTER PICK EVENTS

Volunteers armed with litter pickers have been protecting our green spaces around Newcastle. Climate Action Newcastle members have been among them and we wanted to make sure our litter picking didn’t generate unnecessary greenhouse gas emissions. We’ve pulled together suggestions on how to make our litter picking GREENER! We can make a difference, whether it’s a quick litter pick near our home, a stroll with a few friends or an organised event.
